My DP wool felt fedora did once for me and now it belongs to my son whom has pretended to be Freddy in it on more than a few occasions.

My first Stetson fur felt Indy from 1984 is a perfect Freddy hat now. I think they may even have used Stetsons in some of those films.

I was never a Wes Craven fan, so no. If I were to do it, I'd have used my grandpa's old brown fedora. That old thing lost it's liner and the sweat had shriveled up into dust. For the longest time (as a kid) that served as my Indy fedora.

Me neither. Perhaps when I first started in the hobby, but it's the darnedest thing, my hats just kept improving!

i was hoping to this year with an old hat i got from a fellow COW member, but that project has fallen through due to major hold-up with the glove, and i still haven't gotten around to modifying that old hat.
