Check this one out! Sweet! Flannel lined for those REALLY cold locations (which isn't, unfortunately, here is South Texas!) Too bad it's not available any more! :?

That is without a doubt the COOLEST cardigan ever! I never thought I'd hear the words "cool" and "cardigan" in the same sentence! ;)

I don't know what size you are looking for, but I just called the Duluth Trading Post and spoke to a sales rep. She said that they have 109 size large in stock at the moment.

I just found this one in their new catalog yesterday. It is pretty sweet. And since I get their catalogs about twice a month and this is the first time they've offered it, I reckon they have plenty in stock.

Looks a little dark to me? Is the "ribbing" too wide?

Might be a little too heavy and thick to wear under the leather jacket like he does in MOTB.

Just my opinion. But it is a great looking Cardigan!!

Well, mine just came today! I love it! It's a little large, I probably could have gone xl instead of xxl. Having said that, in looking at the pictures of MOTB, I think it's very close. It is nice and warm, I'm wearing it now.

I am seriously considering this cardigan. Since there's a few in this string who've bought it, can you wear it under a Wested? I am in the air between the Duluth cardigan, and the Roots cardigan posted by wannabe in this string: viewtopic.php?t=35967&, which it seems he can wear it under his jacket.

I don't know about wearing it under a wested, but I have been wearing mine under my Nowak Indy I and it fits great.

My jacket is a Todd's Medium and the cardigan is a small, like i said, but they fit big. It works out great. I love how they feel when they are worn together. I could re-post a pic in this db is people think that the jacket would be too tight.

Well, I couldn't afford a new jacket just to accommodate the sweater. :P Are the fits of the Wested vs. Nowak so different that something that'd work with one wouldn't work with the other? Can anyone with both weigh in? Sorry if I am splitting hairs, but it's a lot to spend on a sweater if I can't wear it under my jacket.

wannabe, how warm is yours? Do you live in a cold area during the winter?

I live in Canada. It is FREEZING here and we don't even have that much snow on the ground yet. The one from Roots is definately intended for Canadian winters, it will keep you very toasty.

I called Duluth Trading Post today to order the cardigan and they are already out of everything but XL and XXL. They said they were made in south Asia and they would not have any more this year, so there went my Christmas present.

I talked to some one in there office and told them I wasn't impressed with a company that would order so small an amount that it would be sold out in 4 weeks.
Hopefully if enough people will complain that they will listen.

If I was to get a cardigan, which I'm not, that would be the one I'd pick.

Duluth is down to only XXls now. I guess they didn't count on being named a "close enough MOTB sweater."

I've received my Roots cardigan, and here's a pic.

Image

It's nice and warm, but I'm sure the Duluth one is warmer, as they bill it as a "3 dog night" sweater. I don't think you'd need one of those outside of Canada, or some place that has no heat. So anyway, I went with the Roots. I enjoy it, and they had my size in and it was shipped in about 4 days, so if you're still looking for a cardigan outside of the Duluth one, Roots may be an option.
