I have a pair but they are very yellow and I had to trim off the homebase label. Are these more cream coloured?
Then they will do fine.
Then they will do fine.

I take a medium size, I think the large were more expensive. Yes they're lined and just the thing cycling in winter and a really good fit.TomK wrote:I got a pair although mine cost 9.99. Are yours lined? They're nice gloves, if slightly on the dark side. Make sure you check them carefully before buying though as I had to return them twice before getting a pair without serious flaws in the stitching.
I checked mine in the shop for stitching. I think I had a 'plainclothes' watching me for a while as I had about a dozen pairs laid out for comparison! My photos are on the pale side but I'm not so into it being manically SA in colour, they'll fade after a winter of soakings.

thanks for the tipKt Templar wrote:I have a pair but they are very yellow and I had to trim off the homebase label. Are these more cream coloured?

But a lot more SA pair is the Wells Lamonts you can get from gloves online.
No they're a mid brown, almost the Raiders bullwhip caramel colour. Mine didn't have a homebase label.
I prefer to try before I buy, so I seldom order anything online. I also quite enjoy going into a shop with my B.I.G.R. tuned in [Bargain Indy Gear Radar] makes the whole necessity of going INTO town more bearable. (rather be heading out to the wilds)

I edited my little plug for another glove vendor. I have a crummy habit of pointing to something else when people are talking about another!enigmata_wood wrote:thanks for the tipKt Templar wrote:I have a pair but they are very yellow and I had to trim off the homebase label. Apologies.
Nice find, especially for us Brits, I do find myself always taking a peak at the gloves in the DIY stores, in "gardening" and in the "gloves" section.

no apologies needed nor offence implied, making recommendations is just helpful.Kt Templar wrote: I edited my little plug for another glove vendor. I have a crummy habit of pointing to something else when people are talking about another!
