Do any major chain stores carry Pecards?

Post by indiana bob »

I know I can get Pecards off of their website, but I was wondering if any large chain stores such as Wal-Mart or the like carry it. It would be easier for me to just drive 5 minutes to the store and get it rather than waiting for it to be delivered. Thanks!

And one more thing, how much Pecards will I need to do a jacket? Will the 4 oz bottle be enough?

You might want to indicate what kind of jacket you are talking about here, and exactly just what kind of effect you are looking for. There is more than one Pecard product.

Agreed, but will add that personally I only know of it being sold via internet or mail sales, and not stocked as a product in stores for purchase.

Sorry, I'm new to the leather jacket scene.

I have a washed goat LC wested. All I'm really looking for is to ensure the jacket's longevity. I want the minimal amount of color change as I like it as is.

I've heard the lotion is good on the goat as opposed to the dressing. The lotion doesn't contain the beeswax that is in dressing, I think that is the difference.

As for where to buy it, I've only ever bought it online. It comes pretty quick.

Personally, I use the creme (jell) on goatskin myself, but as has been said above, the lotion is water soluable, and therefore won't darken it as much as any other their other products.

Actually, Michaelson, funny thing. I'm at my gun dealer the other day, and strolling around while the guy was busy talking with someone else, and what did I discover?? A section of a shelf stocked with tubs of Pecards! He carries the big (I think 4 oz.?) and those mini sizes that whipmakers send out with whips. I was blown away. Just thought I'd mention it ;-) first time I've ever seen it.

Really? First time I've heard of a small dealer actually carrying their product! Sounds to me like you have a gundealer who knows his stuff! ;-)
