Indy's jacket has an open cuff.. and I don't really like those. Maybe it's my short arms or they just do it normally but they go past my wrists and on my hands and it's bothersome.

As far as I know there are jersey cuffs (elastic/tightening cuffs), button cuffs and open cuffs like Indy's. Don't know what else there is

It really depends on the jacket. On most leather jackets, I like open cuffs...maybe add a zip at the wrist. Overcoats and work jackets, I like buttons. Track jackets, I like elastic.
Although I love the look of A-2, I am not fond of the knits at the wrist and the waist. However, when I was younger my favorite jacket was an A2. I guess my tastes have changed in that regard.

I don't know about Strones, but now I want elastic cuffs, in fact I want an elastic jacket with leather cuffs. Thank you for allowing me to find the true path.IndyFalco wrote:*Peer Pressure*Indiana Strones wrote:Open! I HATE elastic cuffs...
But elastic cuffs are so cool... You want ALL your jackets to have elastic cuffs...

I am not a big fan of knit cuffs on any jacket. I have two athletic jackets that have knit cuffs and I almost never wear them due to the knit cuffs. I also changed my work uniform jacket 2 years ago from a knit cuff to a button cuff and leave them unbuttoned until the weather turns really cold.
I will add that if I decide to get another Indy jacket down the road, I own two, I would probably ask to get a more tapered arm and a smaller hand opening.

Heck, I don't even want the jacket, I just the elastic cuffs. That's all. I'll sport'em ;-) Elastic cuffs all day. Not to be confused with wristbands.
Just Elastic cuffs. New fashion trend?
