Thanks guys!!! Highly appreciated
You may have done the only thing that can make the ABD better than it was before.
Thank you Dave! I've finally come to end with my personal hat quest now. After... 18 years

Last year, I made a Raiders Fedora for myself, using a rawbody from the CS felt batch - the closest I could come to having "Indy's hat". I left the liner out, 'cause I thought that one day in the future, I'd eventually change it anyway and I had enough other stuff to look for ;-) I also didn't add the small tie bow to the back of the sweatband, as I usually do that after I've sewn the liner in and since only I was supposed to wear it anyway... who cares. I wore the hat to the summit at Peter's place close to London last year and have since worn it in Denmark, Germany (pretty much every single day), Madeira and Switzerland. Just before leaving for Sicily this year, the prototype arrived and I sew it in together with the little tie bow on the sweatband. It was almost magical and I could have peed on myself when I was done. You see, usually when I got a hat earlier, I was happy for a couple of months and then the pickyness used to take over and make me look further. THIS one however, I have owned for fourteen months now and I'm happier then ever - especially now that it's finally finished. It has gotton a few scratches and stains along the way (all natural distressing) and the color has faded into the perfect Raiders brown. This is the last piece in - granted - a puzzle with rather few pieces, but that doesn't make it less challenging.
Ok, off my soapbox
Regards,
Marc
