Holy @#$%! 6' costume whip actually made a real crack.

I bought a costume whip yesterday that's 6 feet long. Pretty chincy but it's really not that bad.. it was only $4

but I was amazed today because I was whipping it in my kitchen and trying to crack it (This is my first whip more or less) and it actually made a crack! Like a really really really loud crack like a gunshot.

I couldn't believe it a cheap thing like this could do that now I'm wondering what a real whip would sound like.

This thing has to be like 1 plait

Looks like 4 plait. Pretty good for only 4 dollars.

they will crack - but be careful! The strands tend to break when you do! Like many others, I had the black 4-plait 'plastic' whip when I was a kid that I bought at the fair, and a really good crack would snap it in half - a decent crack would break strands - by the end, it was more duct tape than nylon!

a towel will crack too

like mentioned before, don't go into a winrich routine with that thing...you'll have 4 bullwhips in the end (if it is a 4 plait) ;-)

Yea, a regular leather belt would crack too
