Adventurebilt Reblock - Info Needed

Post by crazylegsmurphy »

Hello Felow Indiers,

I would like to send my two AB's back to have them reblocked but I'm a little confused as to how to go about doing that exactly.

I simply don't have enough information to even go about doing it, and I can't find any information on the website.

The questions I have are:

1. How much does it cost?
2. How long are the hats gone for?
3. How do I ship them? (boxes, crates, glass case)
4. Who pays for shipping?
5. What is the address?
6. Can I order replacement liners while they are out?
7. Can I request a new style (change my LC into a CS)?
8. How do I mark the package to avoid extra costs?

Basically, I need to know this information before I randomly shove my hats in a bag and ship them to Steve.

Any other information relevant to this would be much appreciated as well.

Thanks!

Jeff

I should be getting my reblock back from him next week. He got my hat on 8/27 and he emailed he is going to ship it tomorrow. so a month turnaround time. I believe it cost $35. He'll reblock it to any style you want.Just shoot him an email and #### be more then happy to answer any questions.
Best Regards,
Joe

1. Based on what Steve told me about a month ago, $40
2. it can vary - as little as a few weeks, as much as a few months. that's why it pays to have multiple AB's. :)
3. I just ship it in the same box in which it first arrived on my doorstep
4. You, who else?
5. Adventurebilt Hat Co. c/o Steve Delk 168 Christopher Dr. Columbus Ms. 39702
6. I don't think you even need to order - just ask him to put a new one in.
7. Yes
8. I wouldn't know anything about that, being a US citizen.

Hope this helps. -M

Sent it three times....no reply.

Maybe I'm on a blacklist for making Marc so cranky! :D

I got an e-mail from Steve this morning, so I know he's reading/responding to e-mails. As he's said in the past, if you e-mail him and don't hear back in about a week, shoot him another e-mail. That's what I did, and he replied back within a day. Patience is key, as I know he gets flooded with e-mails, on top of actually making hats.

Kind regards,
Craig
