What a happy moment
I just received two huge boxes filled with the special made Adventurebilt Alden boots!!!
I'm so thrilled and grateful for all the effort that Alden put into re-creating these boots
The color is EXACTLY as requested, every stitch, every detail - I just couldn't be happier
This picture (courtesy of MK) among dozen of screen graps and countless discussions with the fine craftmen of Alden and months of waiting have made me being able to end this quest
Here's a pair in Ford's size for your viewing pleasure:
And a little closer (both pictures taken inside the living room - no flash):
Thanks for all you confidence, trust and patience in this project guys
Regards,
Marc

Now maybe folks will see, Marc, that you can't just get this color unless you went this route. Looks to me as though they nailed the color perfectly. None of the brick-red qualities at all.
Perfect.

Fantastic colour and great looking boxes too. I forgot now, a part from the colour, which were the differences with the current aldens?
Wish I did not buy my over-custom-charged Aldens and waited for these instead (which came at the same price in the end)... but I know I could have never waited so long. I'm happy for the lucky ones who were able (and could afford) to get one of these.

Gosh those look amazing!!! I love the color! The only problem is, I couldn't afford the basic Aldens, let alone these ones!
Marc already has enough of my money...

Considering all the "discussions" these boots originally caused, I'm very grateful for all the kind feedback and interest I get from you guys. Thanks a lot
I'll start an interest thread for a second run within soon and if we manage to get the min. requirement together, then I'll be happy to place a second order.
The price is the same as last time, HOWEVER(!!!) the Dollar seems to be recovering, so for you guys in the U.S. they'd be round about 100 bucks less this time
Regards,
Marc

Very well done indeed!

Ill stick with the Aldens I allready have. But I will admit they are very nice and worth the money if you want true SA Aldens.

Wow, those shoes/boots, look really good. I really want a pair and I am afraid if I don't get on the second run there may not be another run. So I may consider getting a pair since these boots are a rare.
Great offer Marc, looks exactly like the boots in Raiders. Thanks so much for even offering these to us. AB is like the king of Indiana Jones gear. ;-)

My boots just arrived!!!
Marc, THANK YOU - SINCERELY - for making this happen. These boots are just SUPERB!
Honestly, I can't faul these - they look EXACTLY like the boots we see Ford wearing in the temple scenes at the beginning of Raiders.
Yet another gear quest has been completed thanks to Marc and his exceptional quality / highly accurate offerings!
