Sending PayPal to Wested...

Post by JimL »

Let's say for arguments sake I was going to send cash over to wested to try and "entice them to take my order seriously.

I notice a 21-day lead time, with nearly 14 days wasted since I got all my specs together and sent the list in.

So, I thought a couple hundred bucks might make them realize I'm serios about ordering a jacket.

What address do I use? wested@wested.com? That did not come up as a 'verified' user as I expected it to...

I know several of us have purchased from Peter via PayPal, so I just wondered which address is to be used for Paypal.

Thanks in advance.

Not likley I'll have my jacket in time for halloween either...

Doesn't Wested require payment before the start on a custom jacket? I've always paid in advance, or at least given them my credit card number. They've always requested the number first, so the fact that you haven't done that is probably the reason they haven't started on your custom jacket yet.

Yes they do, but you need to know what to pay first if you aren't using a credit card. When I ordered my custom I wanted to pay with paypal so I had to wait on an e-mail with a quoted price before paying. Everything went smooth with my order though: ordered friday evening, got the payment info monday, payed and got the confirmation on tuesday.

Regards, Geert

I'm not paying in advance.

I already told Peter and Gemma I have the money waiting in PayPal ready to go.

I want to discuss the details so I know what I'm buying before I buy anything! Plus, I need to know the pricing is reasonable for what I'm getting if my "demands" are unreasonable...

So, hopefully today I hear something.

Whatever you do, make sure you call them.

I have discovered that email communication with them is unreliable, both ways.

I sent messages they didn't get, they sent messages I didn't get.

I'm not laying blame with anyone, just pointing out that using the telephone is the way to go. I was always able to reach them and got answers straight away.

I have been calling them! I can tell who I'm speaking to by their voices now! (I imagine they know mine now as well)

Anyway, no contact today, as promised, so I'm calling them now (which is late there) but they said they'd contact me so...

I spoke to Peter last night, who jotted my name down. Gemma contacted me this morning to recollect the specifications on the jacket.

I made a few further changes based on additional screen study and discusion with Peter.

I am going to have the zipper end 'normally' (about 1 inch from the bottom of the jacket) and have no facings at all inside. I also did not get so spcific for the inside pocket, since it is not seen.

Other than that, it will be per my "laundry list".

I did make one special request- we'll see if they can do it or not (it's a suprise!) :)
