I'm not sure. It states "-Lining Polyester". My Todd's lining looks satin.

Additionally, what's up with that high price? Oh yeah, it's in the UK. I don't think it's a Todd. Not sure.

Satin IS a type of polyester. And Todd's is a artificial fibre.

Oh price wise.... he has a Nowak listed at double the US price too, seems to be his standard mark up.

What puzzles is his 'TOD' jacket. £120 indicates the original price was £60 and no one sells a jacket that cheaply!

They also seem to sell HJ poets (190 euro) and Christy's hats (both the wool and the felt version)... a bit overpriced of course :P

My thougths exactly, Todds has a Polyester lining.

I wonder if Todd is aware of this? The jackets are much higher priced than the todds standard.

I guess they just buy stuff from sellers such as Todd and resell it for more. Don't know how illegal is that but I think we already discussed about this website some time ago? I think they were selling Adventurebilts with no authorization. Not sure though. Wasn't you Dutch to bring this up last time?

Why do you think it would be illegal? If they said it was something it wasn't, that may be cause for action.

I never thought it was, but from others's posts you would think it was.

yes it is based in the UK but he also sells Nowak jackets... I don't get the point of the comment?

Anyhoo about the illegal, a few months ago they had a link to a page on their site that you could order AB's from, they didnt bother to ask permission to any of the ab people.

thats why it COULD be illegal. Just a hunch, I think he just buys in bulk and sells for profit outside US.

I don't understand that either. How can it be illegal to sell on something that you have bought?

I don't think that is illegal. I actually believe MANY people do this.

It is up to the consumer to research what they want and find the best possible price/quality that they want. If they don't want to take the time to research and end up buying something for twice the cost of other places, that is their problem.

Ya I agree. It's not like they are advertising saying that THEY are Tony or anything. I think people should do their homework and not get suckered into paying almost twice what the jacket costs directly from Tony's site.

That wouldn't be illegal.

If he's selling items as 'Indiana Jones' he may have a problem, but reselling or reselling isn't illegal.

Reselling at exorbitant cost is not illegal... immoral, maybe, but not illegal.

He bought it, it's his property to do with as he wishes. Only trouble he might get into is if he's marketing himself as a "licensed" reseller.

No, I'm not aware of this fellow, and I don't know if that is my jacket. It could be - I can't be certain.

What he's doing isn't technically illegal, but I see my stuff re-sold on Ebay all the time, and ususally for a profit. I do hate to see people pay more than they need to.

No one has bought a large number of jackets from me. I have no affiliation with this guy (or anyone, for that matter).

Yeah, that's a clue. He could have had mine copied somewhere. He could be using pictures of one of mine he owns and selling something else...
Or he could be planning to order one from me when he sells one...
Don't know.

Todd,
Isn't this jacket's body length short in relation to the sleeves?
Is yours same?

This company is also apparently using photos of a Christys Adventurer, with the liner logo whited out, to sell their own hat brand. Apparently they were once selling actual Christys at a very high markup, and when they substituted their own brand for the same price, they "forgot" to change the photos. They've lowered the price since I last checked their site, but it's still higher than a Christys. I would avoid buying anything from them.

Anyone else notice (I wonder how I noticed...) that the Halle Berry Bikini from Die Another Day is selling for only $286.37?!? And that's just for the bikini, not even including the white belt she is wearing...
