It might not be best looking Indy SA shoe but it's close and the price is good.

the boots arrived today. as seen in pic, they come sorta distressed.
the boots are worth $40 but prob not the $69 tag (my opinion) which is their current price on that web site. the leather feels alright. great ankle support as one would expect w/ high-tops. the hard rubbish sole doesn't seem likely to hold up though as it's slightly flexible (prob for the cushy feel while walking).

I have a pair in Dark Chocolate (I had paid $69 which was a bargain from their initial retail price of $125) and have no problems with them.jaisonline wrote:the boots arrived today. as seen in pic, they come sorta distressed.

Hey, even the J.crew decker, the CLOSEST thing to the real deal has a rubber sole. Once they are distressed, it's not too noticeable. These Farnums are awesome boots, and a GREAT deal at this price. I've had the chocolate color for a while and I just ordered and received the dark tan.jaisonline wrote:whipitgood wrote:These are great for the price. A Division of Rockport?
Is this the same as the regular Rockport shoe guys? The Farnums don't show up on the Rockport main site. And are these only available online or do any brick-box retailers carry them? Or are they a closeout on a discontinued model? I'm particular about shoe fit and would hate to buy without trying them on.

I can tell you these are pretty close to true in size. ALTHOUGH, I purchased my usual 1/2 size down and they fit fine, it's very close, and I would probably be o.k. with my regular size.
I wear a 7.5 in shoes, I size down to a 7 in boots. I bought these in 7, but could probably wear 7.5 with no problems (but the 7 fits fine)
I think they are only available online now. Snag 'em! You won't regret it, not at 40 bucks! Great boot!
