Winrich Whips... no more orders???

Post by jnicktem »

I am looking to get a whip, and I am really liking the ones from Winrich Whips. However the web site says, "NOT accepting new whip orders until FURTHER NOTICE!"

Does anyone know anything about this? Like how long will it be before orders will be accepted?

Thanks!

Well, I'm still getting caught up on the wave of orders I got in June, and I wanted to finish these without the pressure of further orders.

I'm hoping to finish all paid orders by the end of October, and then I'll be in Australia for all of November. When I get back I'll take care of all the people on my waiting list, provided they still want to get whips.

jnicktem, if you're looking for one of my whips, send me a PM and maybe we can work something out.

Below is a pic of a latigo bullwhip I finished last week. Although the color is not 'Indy', I feel that latigo is the only way to go to get a truly durable cowhide bullwhip.

My first whip is one of Mr. Adams, the brown 14 footer. LOVE IT! If you put enough arm into it and do an overhead crack with it, it will set off every dog in the neighbor hood! Adam I do miss seeing your show each week!

Adam's whips almost crack themselves. I was able to crack one of his whips on the first try, with no training. I am now the proud owner of one. There's little doubt why demand is outstripping supply.
