Excellent Jacket, I've been hoping ever since I first saw it that I might one day get a jacket made out of such a thin horsehide :)

thanks guys.

I hope that you will achieve such great detail on your next jackets.

the yolk and back panel really improves the raiders spirit.

that was one of the most important details on my order.

The change in the yolk height definitely improves the fit/drape qualities. I wish I could get one to fit like that.

By the way, did I say the color was spot on? :) Just about perfect IMHO.

Like I said before, that is one of the best examples of a Raiders jacket I've seen. Fit, drape, color, everything screams Raiders.

Yoke looks great... as I've said with my Wested the yoke is too low and it renders the bi-swing back nearly useless (stretching out my arms doesn't extend the bi-swing, it just pulls at the low yoke and the jacket immediately tightens up). Nice touch on the jacket.. good luck with it.

Will this jacket set the new Raiders pattern standard? It probably should

Lovely jacket Eric! Glad you've found what you've been looking for for so long. Will you be giving it a water treatment to break it in or are you just going to wear it in slowly?

As for Wested's standard Raiders pattern - I think my yoke is nearly that high as well - and mine is OTR

thanks Nick. yeah after lots of months of waiting I finally can show it of.I will not be giving this anything.I was caught in the rain yesterday..I was out on a walk and it took a half hour to walk to the car..guess what..a storm came..I was soaked..but it didnt hurt my jacket,it gave some nice caracter. ;-) so I think I will just do it slowly since it is so think..I think it will break in so much faster then a normal HH

yes your yolk looks fairly high too..but mine looks to be a hair higher but not by much.. yours look great..one of the best of the rack jackets I have seen.and its the FIST time I have seen a of the rack with the arm seam 1'' below the yolk.

Peter,
Since I know you're reading this, please take note at the yoke done on this jacket. This is how ALL the Raiders (JUST RAIDERS) jackets should be done. I do want to give you guys credit for applying some of the basic features of the Raiders jacket that have been absent for so long, such as the collar-to-storm flap placement which is also now perfect the way you've been recently doing it. PLEASE, keep up the good work and attention to detail. Just get yourself a new sewwing machine. :) The one that worked on Holts jacket must have been hung over or something.

yep.that looks like mine.

allthough it might be an optical illusion in the first picture since it hangs on a hanger and make it look even higher then it is..but I can see it looks pretty much like mine.

great!

I understand what you mean, but no, it's not just an optical illusion, the yoke in this jacket is shorter than all my other OTR raiders standerd jackets.

Perhaps when you ask for the arm seam to be 1 inch below the yoke seam, in order to do that Wested make the yoke this way ? (wishful thinking ;-) )
But I could be all wrong

I really hope mine will come with a yoke like Holt's or Strones (even though I don't ask for it)

when I ordered I did not only say that I wanted to have the arm seam 1'' below the yoke. I also gave them a picture of the original raiders jacket saying to them that I want this yolk heigth.I also calculated the height of the yolk.

and this is what I got.VERY close to the original.

thanks wested

No, I asked only for smaller pockets, rectangular strap buckles and x-box strap: but they made almost all the other Agent5 specs!! Good guys! ;-) Wested rules!

To dip my feet into the jacket waters for the very first time, just yesterday I ordered a Wested Standard OTR Raiders dark brown lamb. Boy, I sure hope it looks this good and has the yoke this way (I hope Peter is reading!!)! What color and hide type is this one, Whiskeyman?

... and Holt's and Strones' jackets are gorgeous ...

Excellent looking jacket, Holt.

My compliments to Peter.

The SA is getting better and better.

Some questions:

Can you show me a picture of the inner pocket?

Also, what size is your jacket and what are the measurements of the pockets?

Thanks in advance.

What's the size of the jacket?
