SA for Indy IV?

Post by hollywood1340 »

I would think for those wanting true SA for Indy IV, that the darker knots would be SA. That's how the whip appears on screen, no?

:) I'm guessing folks agree with you, all the ones I've done so far have been either Saddletan with Brandy knots or Brandy with Black knots...thats what folks have ordered....the ones waiting to be done are the same....darker knots. :P

the early screen caps show the darker knots.....
but Terry didnt make them like that.... possible Anthony or someone in the prop dept dyed it....
I think Anthony mentioned in his interview that he dyed them after getting them from Terry.

Personally i sorta like the two tone look....... its a nice mixup from the standard Indy whips....

Think we should turn this thread into a "post pictures of your KOTCS whips" thread?

From what I've read Anthony only aged them, someone else did the knots. And I'll have one soon enough to post a picture of :D

I agree somewhat- On one hand, I like the traditional one colored whip. On the other hand, the KOTCS color scheme just somehow really grabbed my attention.

Didn't I read somewhere here that this was done during production because the knots were originally a bit lighter than the rest of the whip?

As shown in the Behind the Scenes both knots are the darker color.
