Reblocking?

Post by IndianaBogart »

Ok, I've tossed around the idea of having my Fed III re-blocked, but I don't know how to go about doing that. Who offers re-blocking services? Who's the best? What are the prices? What are the wait times? Who is the most reliable? etc, etc, etc...........

I know a lot of you guys have your hats re-blocked, so could you help me out please? It'd be much appreciated. :)

Thanks guys,
IB

I believe Jersey Jones, Fedora and Bending Oak all offer re-blocking services. Don't know what their wait times or prices are, but they should be easy to get in contact with. ;-)

If I remember correctly Steve(Fedora) only reblocks ABs now. he might have changed his policy I would email him to ask. I would try the other two though if I were you.

Optimo hats offers every hatter service you can think of. I'm also pretty sure that JPDesigns does reblocks (don't quote me on that), and I'm also pretty sure that Peters Bros. Hats does reblocking too (again, don't quote me).

Its a small forum. usally when you post a question about a certin vendor, most of the time they pop in themselves to answer. ;-)

Thanks Oak. So I take it you would re-block a Fed? Not just the hats that you make?
