Acutally it looks a little big on you in picture 2. Otherwise I think it looks like a nice jacket.

Yeah I think its a good fit. as long as you feel comfortable in it, thats more important then screen accuracy. I mean, if you want real screen accuracy, then youd have to wear the exact same size as Harrison, and how many of us actually are the exact same dimensions as him?

The leather has a lighter look than what I thought it would be. Is it just the pictures or is the leather lighter?

By the way, great looking jacket!

The jacket looks lighter in these photos than the last Blue Label photos I saw. On the USW website, it looks considerably darker as well. The jacket is a nice fit, however. Congrats.

The leather has a lighter, distressed cow, CS look.

Not at all. The "stuffed sausage" as Flathead coined it, in response to something I had said, is when a bigger guy (and I am a bigger guy myself, so I speak from experience), tries to squeeze himself into a tiny Wested, or similar. That jacket, in those photos, is the right fit on you. There are always SA afficianados who will say that the jacket's too big (it seems that unless it's breaking two ribs and your arms are immobile, a jacket's too big for some of them ;)), but in terms of a jacket you want to wear a lot, it's not. That is spot-on in my estimation. And it gives me a good feel for what to expect when mine arrives. I wonder how much it will darken with a dose of Pecard?

Great looking jacket. I'm amazed how much it looks like my USW LE.

A rather heaver leather look for a Wested.

It is a USW Tennessee, if that's what you meant. And yes, it also looks like the vintage cow.

Well... I guess I should have read that a little more clearly

Fair enough. I thought it lookd familiar.

It looks great. If you want to work on the colar (which yours looks fine) the method I used was to get it wet then fold it from the middle backwards (in half), like a half worked poped-collar and let it stay that way until it dries. That will create a taller collar with a more relaxed look to it so it doesn't flare to the shoulder seams.

Looks really good to me. I like a little looser jacket myself. I know some people have trouble with US Wings sizing but I've had two of them and they just feel really good when I put them on.

XL.

About 15 minutes after ordering, I had an email from Sgt. Hack saying I'd get the COW credit back tomorrow when the offices opened. I saw the email, and began to sweat that it was a "sorry...we're out of that size." :D

I must say, as much as everyone goes on about the tremendous customer services USW offers, I didn't expect that!

Oh yeah...gotta add again...

Kind of like "fat guy in a little coat" from 'Tommy Boy'?

Ulldar, it looks good. What size is that and what is your height & weight? I got an XL and I'm 6'3", 215 lbs. I know I have to post pics. And it is lighter than the pics on USW's site. BTW, how'd you get 2 shirts? I just got one.

I wondered that too, and the best I could come up with was that it's meant to be two free caps and a shirt with jackets this month, so maybe they were out of the "Moku Man" caps and they sent two shirts instead?!?

Well I'm 6'1" about 250 it is a xxl jacket and from the pic posted on US Wing's site I would say its lighter for sure.

As for the 2 shirts and ball cap lucky I guess one white and black shirt

No stuffed sausage here!!

The jacket looks like a nice fit for you. Not too tight, and not hanging
on you like a sack.

Since these are cowhide jackets, if you want to darken them up some,
you can apply some standard Pecards to it, and it will darken it up to a
really beautiful medium brown color and also protect the cracked surface
of the pre-distressed hide against water seeping thru it if you get stuck
out in the rain.

I personally don't like the sueded look of hides like this. It reminds me
of acid washed jackets back in the 80's. Thats another reason to add the
pecards to it. It will smooth out the outer leather surface, and make the jacket
look and feel better.

I have an LL Bean "Weathered" Flying Tigers jacket that is made from
goatskin that has had the outer surface "weathered", and it had the same
suede look to it. I applied the standard pecards to it, and it looks a
thousand times better now!! Its darker, the hide feels better, and the suede
look is gone. Now its just a nice brown color, with dark and light highlights
all over it.

As Rob has stated, unless you are built exactly like Harrison Ford in the
movies, then no jacket is ever going to look "SA" on any of us.

You want a jacket that fits good, allows you to move around freely, and
is not tight. Yours looks like it fits all those criteria.

ulldarborealis: consider yourself lucky, it seems our shipping department made a mistake by sending you 2 shirts and a cap. Our promotion is 1 shirt and 1 cap with every leather jacket. BTW we are now out of stock on the turtlenecks so this promotion has ended.

hi Sgt

well I hope I did not get anyone from your shipping department into trouble with the 2 shirts.

Just want to say thanks to you and your team its a great jacket at a great price and you guys were really easy to deal with even when I made a mistake.

People at my work want to know where I got it from they like it to.

thanks again
