Is "2007Anakin" here???

Post by BroadSword »

Ok, I wanted to find something out and perhaps I missed it here on COW. I'm sure many of you have been watching eBay for whips and have noticed several really great whips being sold by a seller that goes by "2007Anakin". He seems to have a whip(s) by every high end maker. So my question is... Is "2007Anakin" here on COW? I'm just amazed at how many of these really great whips are coming from one person and would like to know how many whips were/are in his collection.

As of this morning I have taken one more whip off of your hands Anakin! I just bought your 10 ft DelCarpio and now I'm "giddy as a schoolboy"!!! This will be my first quality whip and really look forward to the upgrade from an 8ft "Old-Tyme-Stuff" ebay whip to a professional grade whip.

It left the San Diego facility at midnight so hopefully it made up to my local office for loading. Either way I should have it today or tommorow. Yup, I'll be making some noise this weekend! Probably watch ROTLA in celebration as well!

I've had good communication from him through ebay. Item was sent out the day after purchase. I requested tracking number and he sent it along with the insurance number. He'll be getting good feedback from me. I did find out that he is NOT a COW member believe it or not. His answer to my question about being a COW member was, "...not yet".

I think this really explains why there are 3-4 month waits for whips. Theyve all gone to one person!! Must have been one amazing collection.

The neighbors know the drill now. In fact they don't even flinch or look over when I'm practicing. People walking their dogs, jogging or riding bikes by the place still do. It's pretty funny to watch actually.

WOW what a difference in weight, feel and timing. Just when I was getting decent with the 8ft ebay whip, I get this and have re-learn a few things. It's a great whip for sure:

It's not pristine anymore! Worked it out for a good while yesterday. Yes, it is a 10ft. I even got in a few body/arm wraps with the wife, which soooo much easier with the 10 footer.

:o Whats going on with this bloke :o

 2 more auctions just finished and now instantly 2 more are listed

The Bernie {em-brand} listed went very cheap considering the maker....another 10 foot Bernie listed there again now and a Midwestwhips both 10 footers....

How many 10 foot whips did this guy buy, he has to be taking a loss on them the prices they are going for....

Loving these new Fedora smiley faces can you tell :) :P

When searching on eBay, click on the link for "Advanced Search" (it's right at the top of the page). Then you have the option to search by an eBay seller's name/store.

Works perfectly fine for me. Make sure you click on the left frame where it says "Search by seller" for it to show up. Otherwise, you're looking for items tagged as "2007anakin" and not "items sold by 2007anakin."

Well, I can find a seller called "2007anakin" and in his feed-back someone thanks him for a whip, but I have cheked it a couple diffrent times this week and he never has anything for sale. So I think I might be getting the wrong person.

Well guys I was the one who won the EM Brand one today,, the one from Bernie WOjcicki. I have been bidding on some of this guy stuff this past week and always seem to get aced at the last minute-not today though!! The list of makers he has is very impressive from what I have learned here on this forum in the short time I have been on. SO now I have a 10 footer coming to join the 14 footer. Let the collecting begin!!
