Where's Indy's bag????

Post by IndianaBogart »

Ok, I just finished watching LC for the umpteenth time, and I noticed that near the end Indy doesn't have his bag. When he crosses the chasm on the invisible bridge, he has it. When he throws the dirt/sand/gravel on the bridge so that Elsa and Donovan can see it, it's there. But then all of a sudden, when he crawls out of the tunnel leading in to the knights chamber...."wush, it's gone." For the rest of the movie after this, Indy doesn't have his bag. Anyone else notice this? What's the deal?

The grail knight cuts the bag's strap when he swings at Indy. You can see the bag on the ground shorty after.

Wow. That's interesting. I can see where he cuts the strap, but I didn't see the bag lying on the ground. Can you just see it in the widescreen version? Cause I'm at school and just have my FS box set with me. I left my WS copies at home.

Never mind. I just saw in the posted thread: widescreen only.

I'll have to watch it this weekend when I go home.

Thanks guys!

(I guess this is what happens when you watch Indy VHS tapes for most of your childhood, before things like WS DVDs were available)

wow never saw that, I agree with dvd's you see stuff you missed all those years with the tapes. Like in TOD I never saw short round run to the plane with the blocks on his feet, I knew he had them on in the car,but missed it later......Here's one for you did you ever notice on the dvd of Raiders when Indy covers his head when the big guy is about to be chopped up by the propeller the next instant Indy is on his back saw that one the other day.
