I don't have mine handy...

Certainly big enough for a 4" barrel Colt .357!

Mine is sitting in there now, to create the 'shape' of the holster...

No problem.... Sorry I don't have it handy to verify that given dimension.

I would venture a guess that they are all pretty similar, as mine looks very much like the photo you posted...

I have another lengthy post elsewhere on the details of the holster, if you care to look. :D No dimensions, however... :(

I need dimensions because I'm trying to make one by myself. First prototype is made from paper. Then I will need a piece of brown-reddish leather. :-k I'm not interested in holsters and guns, so I need one for costuming only.

I don't know about import tax you might have to pay in Italy...

But, the Todd's is very reasonably priced! His gun belt is quite decent as well...

You could stuff the holster with paper and have a good effect...

I'm not against making things myself (I do it all the time) but when you figure the time, and labor plus materials (and often things like the brass buton on the holster they want you to buy 100 of them) it gets to be a moot point.

Just throwing that out there!

29.95 is a very good price for the Todds holster if I could buy this at the shop near home: but I must add 25 $ for shipping to Italy, plus 15 (or more) euros of custom, for a total of about 75$...

well min that case, I'd say you're doing the right thing!

Your mock-up looks great by the way! I think you will have a fantastic holster when you finish!

Definately keep us posted with progress... :D
