Peter's Tod jacket order suggestion post

Post by jacksdad »

I read in the post about his jacket, and about people who want to order,I'm suggesting that this post be an official order list.I'm stressing that if you post to this that you are really committing to the jacket. This way Peter can really see who wants one. I realy want one so I don't want to miss the boat. Then after Peter reads the list he can post when to pm him and place an order. I know there is a vendor section but this way since it's a special order it won't be missed. :D

Before starting any such thing, get Peter's ok on doing this.

This site isn't an extension of a companies order system. He can judge the scale of interest, but it's not to be used as anything more than information gathering.

When ever he's ready to take orders, you need to do it through the proper channels.

I think it's best to wait until the jacket is actually produced and then to see how Peter wants to proceed. It's been mentioned that we are not the only Indy based site he sells jackets to, so my guess is once Peter starts making the jackets, the official order list will be based on folks who actually call and place their order with payment or do so online via the Wested site.

I'm not an admin but if I were Peter, I wouldn't have a list of someone just simply stating they want one. Payment or deposit would have to be done first I would imagine.

Yeah, JD, let's just let the business side take care of itself, as it always does.

Please do not go down that road. I know some of you are very keen but I don't want to rush this. As I have said the sample is in work and I still have to decide on skins and costing.
Furthermore at the end of next week I am on vacation in Mexico but I promise that by the end of the month I will post positive information.
Cheers

There you go!

The Man has spoken!

Oh, jacksdad, no harm, no foul. Peter has seen just how excited folks are, and now we know where the project stands. You did us a great service, thank you! :D

And since Peter himself has chimed in regarding this, there's no reason to keep this one going. Once Peter is ready, as he stated, I'm sure he will make the announcement in the original thread or the vendors section. Enjoy your vacation, Peter.
