Who made these jackets for W&W? Was it Cooper?

Uh, folks, $239 in 1992, converted to 2008 dollars, that would be equal to buying the jacket for $333 in today's cost of living conversion.

Whoops, guess it would help if I hit the 'calculate' button.

Number corrected above.

Copy that link as a 'favorite'. It's pretty neat aid when you're doing historical comparisons.

The ad is from 1992. In 1989 those Coopers were $299. The price dropped by 92.

Maybe it was a promotional price? Or perhaps that was the first non-necessarily-Cooper batch?

Cool memory, though!

This same company used to sell other Cooper jackets (military A-2's & G-1's) in similar ads in various publications. Those were also sold in instalments. I never saw an Indy jacket ad though. Cheers

Ah, memories. I've still got my Cooper from 1989, and it was $299.00. Ordered mine
through the old Lucasfilm newsletter back in the day. I took that thing everywhere -
even wore it to the CS premiere!

It's gotten a bit worn after nearly 20 years of use, but I still like it - dig on the LC look,
but I would like to get a Raiders-style jacket in the near future. :junior:
