Akubra Campdraft
Does anyone have the Akubra Campdraft? I'm thinking of ordering one in the silverbelly color, not for an Indy hat of course, but it should be a good looking addition for certain clothing colors. Tell me about it and post some pics if you have them. Thanks ahead of time,

I'd take that question over to the Fedora Lounge forum. There's a lot of cross pollenating between COW and FL, and there's reams on the Campdraft ( a holdover from when Akubra licensed with Stetson - it's an Open Road ). You don't even have to join the forum - there's loads of info on the public threads. Just search "Campdraft".

Good advice from Kiltie. I actually started the Campdraft craze over there.
I don't have mine anymore, but I recommend it highly. The crown seems to taper less than the old Federation III crown when bashed, but otherwise is very similar. The brim is not dimensionally cut, and is bound. It really is a nice hat, and matched the dimensions of my vintage '60's Open Roads almost perfectly.

There is no search button/toggle on TFL's page when I am not logged in:Dalexs wrote: No you don't... you only need to be logged in to search the non public areas.
There are at least 29 threads in the Forum section alone from a search of the word "Campdraft."

Hey, are you calling me old?Michaelson wrote:...They're also old, original members of TFL too.

And I'm actually in the wrong here. I missed that they were talking about the TFL for the search.
(Sorry, I've been on my kids case all day about getting his summer reading done... )
So consider this an apology.
(Although, our search isn't disabled for non-log-ins! )
