Great

Post by IndianaGeo »

Hi All,
First off, I´m glad to hear about Michaelson´s delivery. Seems we have a lot of happy campers right now, except maybe Mechanic. Might actually be a good thing that a guy named Mechanic wrecked his car...I mean, it appears he might know how to fix it! Unfortunately I´m out of donations at the moment, but I wish you luck.

I had an opportunity to take my 405´s out on a hike yesterday to a place called New Forest. I´d never been to this place before. It´s near Southampton in England, southwest of London by about a 1 hour 45 minute drive. Anyway, I couldn´t help but be amazed by now comfortable these shoes-boots are. It literally felt as if my feet and ankles were being "held" gently by two strong human hands. I´d never quite had this experience with boots before. I´ve also got a great pair of Asolo hiking boots which I take out on more demanding climbs, but the Aldens were perfect for trail hikes through the woods.

If any one out there ever wants to check out an amazing forest, like the kind you´d expect to see Robin Hood and his merry band of thieves in, it would be New Forest. Cheers,

hey Geo,

I'm from the New Forest, small village near a town called Fordingbridge. Hope to walk down there with my Aldens one day.

Some have used tribal drums, and others have used gongs. Maybe a Flute?

What's the fit like on the 405's? I'm a 10/10E in all of my other shoes and boots.
I've heard the 405's run about 1/2 size large.
What's the concensus here?
Thanks.

schmidty mailed my 405's Friday and they were waiting in the mail when I got home this evening, I already wore them out to dinner and they look/feel great. Well worth the 3 month wait.

regards,
Travis
