Connery's Fedora

Post by DR Ulloa »

Does anyone know who made Connery's fedora in From Russia With Love? I would love to get one, or at least have on just like it made.

I'm not too sure about From Russia with Love, but if it helps, I do know that James Lock & Co. made the trilby that Connery wore in Dr. No.

Thanks Castor. That seems to be the one. The screencap is actually from FRWL. Now, if only they sold it in charcoal.

Ah, in that case, they probably re-used the same hat(s) for the sequels! ;) Talk about killing two birds with one stone!

The Bond-trilby community has actually had an ages old debate about the hat being gray/not-gray for ages, much like the whole Raiders gray/not-gray fedora debate! ;)

Seems that Lock & Co. insists that they only ever produced their Sandown trilby in brown, leading many folks to speculate that the color difference is due to film and lighting... Now where have I heard that before? :P

i'm surprised they're not claiming that they went back in time and made this hat for connery.....cuz that story is easier to swallow than the other one.......HA HA HA HA HA HA
