*NEW* 6 Foot, 12 Plait Indy Style 12 Inch Handle w/out wrist

Here is a new Indy Style 6 Foot, Bullwhip with a 12 Inch handle without the wristloop that I finished last night for a customer and I wanted to share some of the pics.

Oh yea and Paul/Lauren/Bernardo this was the 6 footer that I brought to the Annie Oakley festival but it was only half finished. It turned out great.

Canuck Digger, I did bevel both the flesh sides of the strands, I really like the way the whips turn out.

Good looking whip, nammann. I agree with you on the way whips appear when bevelled on the flesh side only. To me, they look cleaner. Mike Murphy told me a while back he does this to his 8 and 12 plait whips. Good job!

I have seen some of Mike Murphy's work and I really like the clean look of his whips. I have tried unbeveled,beveling the opposite corners and I found that beveling both the flesh side of the strands makes for a very nice looking whip. Not that the other ways do not work as well I just prefer to do it this way.

Good lookin' whip! I only wish you'd had it finished before the last time I saw you - it really looks like it cracks well.

) Beveling both undersides really makes the checkerboard on the handle look nice.

Thanks Lauren for the comment.
I am going to try to have another one like this for when I come out there on the 23rd so you might get another chance to see one, it rolls out really nice and it cracks great and is well balanced at the transition knot. I prefer to bevel both flesh sides of the leather, I have tried all the other ways and this way works very well for me, I have always had the best results when I bevel this way.
