Wings VIP picture request...

Post by Kokopelli »

If you have a Wings VIP, would you post some pictures of them? I searched and got a lot of discussion that included the VIP, but no pictures!
Thanks, Ron

Maybe its not a popular jacket. Did you try the other Indy board?

I wonder what the hold up is.
Oh okay, thanks for the heads-up. Sorry. I didn't realize it was that popular.

I'd like to find out more about the Wings VIP myself, from actual owners, and their experience with the jacket, also.

Aeris, you know that while you point that gun at me...you've got 3 fingers pointing back at you! Well...three for a few seconds, then four...three then four.....!

We just have to get the car keys away from Mrs. CitRon
But she's been gone now for two straight days! If she were home CitRon would have surely taken pics and posted them already.

I ordered a VIP last year but returned it because the collar was way too big for my liking. Otherwise it was an awesome jacket........

There's a VIP on ebay I believe. At least, the description proclaims it's one of the 90 that were made

Huh?

VIP's are STILL being made, and have been for several years now. Not sure what THEY'RE selling in their auction, but there are a LOT more than just 90 VIP's out there, I assure you!

Just looked it up, and they're selling an Limited Edition version, of which there WERE only 90 made. It's not a VIP.

I understand.

No, they're two completely different jackets.

I think my confusion came because the VIP has pictures on the website for all to see, whereas the LE is gone because they all sold.. the request I assume is for non-company shots

Well, the VIP is an extremely dark brown, non-distressed French cowhide, where the LE and CE versions are lighter colored pre-distressed cowhides as shown in that auction.
