I have this jacket and I like it very much: but I don't think it's exactly an alternative to leather jacket, in an Indy costume perspective. It's a very good jacket for the warmer months.

Todd's standard isn't too much more, actually.

thanks! thats another thing i had to take on board too really. its quite warm and stuffy in the UK at the moment so i thought the denim might be a better choice :)

MTATL sell that UK100 and you're good to go! ;)

The cotton Raiders is a nice jacket and is good for this time of year and for general day to day wear. But if you can stretch to it I'd get one of their washed goat or ordinary goat jackets, they really are good value and nice jackets to boot.

Jason; I would second that regarding the Ordinary Goat Wested; the jacket is brilliant craftmanship and it is at a cost that I can honsestly say is fair. Peter as worked a blinder with the Goat and I am sure it could turn into a favorite amoungst Gearheads.

I have one as well and while it is nice to add to the collection, it will not scratch the itch for a leather one. Save your money as it will just take you that much longer to save up for a leather one if you buy the denim.

Peace.
