So my Wested 38 OTR goat is fantastic!
Exactly what I want, fits me in the tighter style that I like & will last me for years. BUT,...that G&B looked so good I ordered one as well. And on Monday it arrived (way ahead of schedule). So now I have a great G&B 38R Dark Seal goat as well.
From not having an Indy jacket to owning these two fantastic examples makes me smile every time I open the wardrobe to pick which one to wear!
Just a few notes for anyone interested
For those after a tighter fit jacket then the Wested OTR in your chest size is a good place to start.
I'm, 5'6",slim build, work-out,do Judo & have broad muscular shoulders, the "classic tri-angle" shape. The Wested fits me great, with enough room for a shirt & thinner jumper underneath if I need it. I agree with those of you who say that there's about 2" added for fit.
The G&B fits me great as well but is certainly more roomier, I could wear a heavier jumper(sweater for you Nth Americans ) underneath but it is still a great fit even with just a tee shirt.
Whichever jacket you choose, they are both fantastic example of leather work & if you're like me, just after a good Indy style jacket, then they will not disappoint.
Wested
Gibson & Barnes
See how these phone pxts work...
PS. just buy one for the great leather smell as well :!:
I couldn't help myself...Wested & G&B pxts

Heya guys
Yep, I only have my phone to get digital pxts on, sorry
Just wanted to show that in general the two jackets DO look the same on me, and though you can't see the detail, you can hopefully get the idea, sizewise at least.
It's just really for guys like me who lurk around here when we're searching for size info for a good jacket
