Lining life of Wested's

Post by Road Warrior »

I've noticed that the cotton body / satin sleeve linings of my Wested Raiders is substantially lighter in weight than the linings of my
Aero's. I'm not surprised, because the cost was about half, but I'm wondering, have you guys that have been wearing Wested's for years found that you got good (or at least reasonable) wear from the lining of your jackets?

I don't think I've read anything particularly bad in the past, but just wondering....

It seems to depend on the owner.

I've had worse luck with satin lining as compared to cotton, and others have experienced it the other way round.

agreed Michaelson,

The satin/satin in my cowhides always splits along the stitch in the back, yet I wear the lambskin more often and there isn't so much as a scratch...go figger :?
