MK V11 bag on ebay
A great price if anyone needs/wants a real MK V11 bag.
And no I have nothing to do with the seller.
(MOD EDIT: No posting of auction links which are not yours, as per site rules.)
Steve
I`ve replaced the link to that of the `SA` bag!

Great tip, Steve! I might actually buy from this seller. But you know, it might be better if you had something to do with this seller since COW rules doesn’t allow users to link eBay sales that don’t belong to you, I believe.
Still, I believe that promoting any sale indirectly is allowed.
P.S. Do you have any experience with this seller? I see he have a 880 feedback score with 99.1% positive which is excellent, but still will like to know about the real quality condition of the bags.

I picked up a bag from them, but it is not the SA bag. I'm not sure what model it is, but it doesn't have the disc on the side and it has brass studs (for lack of better terms) vice snaps.
I had no issues with the dealer except that it's not exactly the screen accurate bag. It came in a timely manner from the UK to California and was in good, un-issued condition.

They have two types of bags, this type (which I believe they called a civilian type when I asked) and a slightly more expensive type which I believe is more SA. I ordered several from them recently and once I get back into town I'll be checking on the order. I do have to say that the customer service is very good and they worked with me to combine shipping.

I am very happy with the bag it has all of the holes/metal work and pockets inside.

I've gotten that first bag posted. The seller is very good, I got my order from across the pond in a week! The bag is not screen accurate but with a little work, you can get it pretty close. I removed the aforementioned brass studs and replaced them with snaps, and sewed the corners down to get the shape of the flap correct:
I'm pretty sure these were Indian-issue MK VII's.
By the way, the other bag posted (the more expensive one) is indeed an honest-to-God SA MKVII.

Hey COW'ers, i need a little advice in here...
I live in Mexico so basically all the shipping costs are quite high. So i saw an MK VII on ebay that cost $50 USD plus $20 USD or the one that it's posted in here £17.99 plus £10.00.
So basically:
-$70 USD -> $723 MXN (the one of ebay.com [what_price_glory])
-£27.99 ->$573 MXN (the one listed in here)
The difference it's about $150 MXN, what should i do? Which one should i buy?
Thanks and best regards.

I don't think any of us can really answer that for you, Alfonso. It all depends on what its worth to you when it comes to having screen accuracy. If having the genuine bag is not a priority for you, and you don't mind having a "close enough" bag, then by all means save your money!MustangLoverMex wrote:The difference it's about $150 MXN, what should i do? However, I will tell you, there is nothing quite like opening up a package and looking at the "genuine article" sitting right before your eyes. Its been my experience that when I settled for a "close enough" item, the desire to have the genuine article increased exponentially and I did not remain happy with my purchase for very long! So tread with caution friend!
My Best,
Jonathan

Why buy a repro when you can get a real one far cheaper? To me it`s a no brainer.MustangLoverMex wrote:Hey COW'ers, i need a little advice in here...

I have been waiting for a mkVII from this seller to arive for 2 weeks now
Usualy it only takes 3 to 4 business-days for stuff ordered from the U.K. to turn up... Even my Tod bag-strap that I ordered a week after the mkVII has arrived within a week, and that was from the U.S.
As I was not ammused by this, I just sent him a polite message asking him what the heck is going on.
Regards, Geert
