"Screen Accurate" Indiana Jones Boxers. No Joke.

Post by IndyFalco »

Everybody, The day has come where no pair of underwear can be safe, even Indy's own.

I know I can't post links to auctions but go to that certain auction site that starts with "E" and ends with "Y" and type in

"Indiana Jones & The LC Harrison Ford Boxer Shorts"

Be amazed at the price !

For any one who has dedicated themselves to obtaining all the gear,
All I can say is... Your definitely NOT "Screen Accurate" unless you've got a pair of these on....

If those are up for auction, I think those may be the pair that Noel Howard showed me about 6 years ago at the MBA office... I couldn't believe it at the time!!! I only went there to get a bag

I think these will be pulled from ePay soon. I tried to sell a pair of boxers once that had belonged to Weird Al (he throws a pair into the audience at live shows every time he sings "one more minute") and it was taken down because you aren't allowed to sell undergarments that were previously owned or worn. I think.

Why in the world would Ford need costume underwear?? Wasn't like he was filmed in his underwear, where it was seen onscreen. Unless there were some deleted scenes.

Where's the difference in posting a link or posting a "Search 'Indiana Jones & The LC Harrison Ford Boxer Shorts' on eBay"?

The later assumes that the individual still needs to do some basic research to find it, as opposed to just clicking on a direct link.

Well, there were those scenes during the Zeppeling sequence where neither Ford nor Connery wore pants, but, you're right, this wasn't seen on-screen.

I'm surprised no one has made a Bart Simpson reference yet (all together now) "Eat my shorts!" I wish I was good at getting screengrabs, but I actually think that there's BtS (Behind the Scenes) footage of HF in these shorts. Remember, it WAS 1989 - short shorts still common place

PS: So......when are these gonna be put on the IndyGear main page?

In Raiders, his boxers were black. Anyone got a pic of that? Of Harrison Ford sitting with the hat and just in his Alden's, black socks, and black boxers?

I'd be more amazed if someone here even has that. If they do, then that's taking the archives a tad bit far.

Then again, Indy's underwear is on eBay.

Brooks Brothers Frenchback Boxers

Post by YARVTON »

I bought them to wear under a vintage tuxedo. The salesman told me that they were in the line for ?? years. I suspect the elastic back was a "cheat" by the costumers -- don't think elastic was used even in the late-30's.

I found this when I entered "Indiana Jones" on Ebay's search engine. I found a seller who had an authentic item from Temple of doom. Clicked to see his other auctions and BAM !!! Authentic Undies are now added to our world.
