Trip to the US Wings store!

Post by riothamus »

Well, as I was in the area helping a PhD student collecting water samples, I stopped at the new USW store to meet Sarge and to try on some jackets. Sarge said I was the first forum member to visit the new store!

Well, finding one of the VIP Vingate Adventurers that fit me very well (they didn't have any goats in stock and Sarge hightly recommended this one), I just had to buy it! Sarge was great, he showed us around the new store. I got a few pics at the new sign. Of course, after I left I realized I should have gotten a pic with Sarge and of me WEARING the jacket!!!

Oh well, it was a great visit! Thanks Sarge! Pics of the jacket to follow in the next day or so...

Sweet jacket! I got mine a couple weeks ago and can confirm that recommendation. These are made by Schott and just as nice as the goat you wanted. (My goat came Tuesday so maybe that's why they were sold out at the moment! )

Congrats!

I was kidding with him about getting last one. As he was at the retail store they simply didn't have any on the rack (or on the rack in his size). I'm sure yours will be right on time via the UPS truck as it most likely comes from a warehouse with plenty on hand!

O just emailed them asking haha...I get too worried. I heard they run a bit big, I'm a SKINNY guy (I'm 6' tho), I got a small hopefully it'll be good.

He didn't say they were out of stock. He said there weren't any in the store at the time. They have plenty of goatskin jackets in stock, no worries. :D

As others have already said, they didn't have my SIZE in the store at the time in goat. No worries, I like what I got just fine. I think it's more accurate. The goats look so nice I'd had to distress them... Maybe one day I'll get an indy jacket to use as a dressy coat (or keep the wested I got from a fellow member) but I wanted one I can WEAR and beat up. This one certainly fits the bill! Pics in the next day or so I hope.
