Holster supplier for Webley Mk IV?

Post by Cairo Jones »

I own a deactivated Webley Mk IV .38 revolver (yes a real one) which was used during WWII and has all the stamps on it to prove it. I bought it for WWII re-enactment.

I wonder if any of the top Indy holster suppliers can make a quality holster for this pistol, as there doesn't seem much point in buying a prop gun when I have the 'little brother' of the real thing? :D

Hit Ebay.

The leather holsters for the .38s are usually in better shape than their .455 cousins. I got a mint South African holster a few years ago for $20, plus shipping.

Good Hunting,

And this without the strap might be a decent Raiders-like holster too...

Jim,

IMA makes beautiful stuff! the .38 Webley is a bit smaller than the .455.

The IMA holster is for the larger pistol. The .38 will rattle around a bit in there.
I have an original Very Signal pistol holster, and it's pretty huge on the webley too. The bottom of the holster flares out a bit to fit the larger Very barrel inside.

Cairo, just hunker down for a bit of a hunt, and you'll find one.

PS, J!m, is that Landy a Series III?

This one at http://pacificcanvasandleather.com/hols ... l_12_r.htm is better sized for the .38, but isn't SA. Good holsters there, though.

If the fit is a problem, you can always put a rag in the 'nose' of the holster.

The gun out of the holster will look accurate-ish, and the holster will as well. AND, later, when you GET the .455, it will drop right in...

That truck is a 110, but I also have a 1971 series II-a that I drove across Africa in 2001...
