Discoloration on my Keppler

Post by DR Ulloa »

I noticed some discoloration around the lower part of the crown, right under the pinch. It is sort of like a circular patch were the felt is darker than the rest of the hat. What can this be due to and hw can I correct this, if I can? Thanks guys.

My Keppler had some darker areas on it too on the front brim. Must just be the Beaver Brand felt. But I think if you spray the whole hat with distilled water, not soak it, and let it dry naturally all the color should be uniform...might just be the coloring process needs a little help to evenly distribute.

Hmmm...I thought about that but wasn't sure if I should. It seem logical. I know you are not up at this time, but when you can, Michaelson, what do you think? I'm sure you have an answer for this.
