Anybody heard from Lee Keppler about his latest shipments?

Post by OWJ88 »

I ordered a hat from Lee Keppler back at the end of April and he said his hats were delayed from the warehouse, he was hoping to have them by the end of June. Has anyone heard from Lee or have any of you started receiving yours? I could call Lee, but I wouldn't want to be a gear pest, it will come when he has them, but I just wondered if anyone else has heard any new news? Thanks for the updates.

Cheers,

Haven't heard anything, but give Lee a call. He loves to talk shop, as he's on the road most of the time, and enjoys the 'company' on the road.

He would be the one to ask.

I took Michaelson's advice and gave Lee a call. He is having delays with the ribbon and that is slowing things down. He offered to send me one with the black ribbon, but I declined. I would much rather have the dark brown. I would like it to still be accurate, cause that's why I got into this hobby. Anyway, looks like another month or so to anyone that has a standing order with Lee.

Good man, and believe me, now that Lee has actually talked to a flesh and blood customer, you'll be fresh in his mind when his stock finally comes in the door.

I'm not saying he doesn't treat everyone the same, but personal contact is always the best way to go when dealing with a customer/vendor question rather than using the two dimensional medium called the internet to sort out an order.

HIGH regards! Michaelson

I did want to add that Lee was, as always, very gracious and apologetic. He does offer to make amends, but wasn't necesscary. He is a great businessman, and great to do business with.
Just thought I should add that. He is a great expample of a gear head that knows his customers.
