Other G&B jackets

Post by Tollan »

I was wondering if anyone has bought any of the other G&B leather jacket offerings. I've been eyeing up either the CWU leather flight jacket or the G-1. I assume all the jackets are built to the same high standard but just wondered of anyone has any photos. _? :)

I can't begin to tell you how much I love all of my G&B jackets. I own several Expeditions but other than that I have a historical A-2 russet horsehide and a goatskin G-1. The quality of these jackets is really the best I have ever seen. Not just the construction but the quality of the leather is A+++ They only use the top grade hides for their jackets. I have had the pleasure of seeing the jackets being made. I can tell you their jackets are worth every dime.

Cheers for that. I checked out some of his earlier posts. Great stuff! A few shots of a G-1. Shame G&B don't do the nickel zipper anymore for the Expo though :(

Yes I've owned one Expo before and will be the owner of a new one next week hopefully. I loved my previous one... was a bit small though. I like the look of some of their other offerings!

G&B Raiders

Does anyone have the G&B "Raiders" flight jacket (i.e not the Expedition")? Just wondering how well that jacket functions, its quality, etc.

I have a Raiders that I am very happy with, quality is awesome.I also have a CWU from 1985 or so that is in black goat. I can't say enough good about G&B,they are an excellant company that produces a 'stock' jacket that I personally use as a standard for any other comparasions.

I have the M422A in addition to the Expo. Tough as nails and very faithful to the original. In fact it's my everyday winter jacket. The only real difference I can see between the original and the replica is a better match in hides.
