Scout Rain and Stain

Post by floyd1977 »

So i ordered a can for my Fed 4.. Do I spray inside and out? Will this actually protect against rain and stains very well or will I still have to watch out a bat?

Just spray outside of the hat. You might want to give a light misting under the brim...but no more. You really don't need much there...just the crown, top, and top of brim. You don't need to spray ANY inside the crown.

Now, just wear the hat, and brush it on occasion. Nothing more to worry about. It will help repeal the water nicely, and even if you get caught in a frog strangling rain storm, just set the crown on it's top or hang from a chair or hall tree and allow it to air dry naturally. The natural fur fibers are fairly water resistant as well. You're just adding another layer of protection.

A hat is simply a tool to keep the sun, rain, and snow off your noggin. Just use it...and stop worrying now! :D
