First Whip cracking Video by Purewhips.com

Post by purewhips »

Ok this is my ever first video that I have done. The whip that I am cracking is an 8 plait 8 ft bullwhip. It's not the same from my site. On this one I have added an extra layer of inner belly making the whip feel more responsive and much heavier, and thicker. Handle diameter is 7/8in.

Nice video...and very nice whip!
I would make that the "standard" even if you have to raise your prices a bit.

I'm trying to figure out what color that is! Maybe it's just the lighting?

Yeah I was wondering why it didn't come out so well in detail on the color. its dark tan.

IndianaJack91 Yeah I can make it any color you want. My price for the whip on my site is for a standard natural tan.

Like this one that I have up they wanted 8 plait 8 ft heavy, larger handle and aged look. I charged $200 for it.

I ordered a 10-foot 8-plait from Gus last week! I totally love the look of that 8-footer! Now I'm even more excited about my new whip! That's exactly how an Indy whip should look, IMO: very rugged, yet elegant and well made. Don't worry, I'll post lots of pics and a review when it arrives in a few weeks.

So are Gus' whips pretty high quality? I only ask because at $186.00 for a 12 plait 8' cowhide this seems like a really good deal becuase it looks to be more like the Raiders whip and more fuctional than the Todd's deluxe that I have.

I think for the money they are super high quality. LOL I feel like a stuck record always saying how happy I am with the four Caicedo whips that I have. I am also impressed with how super nice Gus is and he has a very strong commitment to his product. Here is a link to my collection.

I ordered one of Gus' Indy whips last week as well. I ordered one with the extra belly as he shows in the video. The timeline he gave me was the first or second week of Aug. I am eagerly looking forward to it.
