My custom made strap arrived! Pics!
My custom strap finally arrived.
I had it made 79" (200 cm.) which is perfect for my length in order to center the buckle. (I'm 6'4", 192 cm.)
The buckle is from Haversaw and as you can see it fits perfectly and looks great.
Whadya think?
Once again it all comes down to lighting, the non flash and with flash are quite different, the middle picture is closest in actual colour.
Cheers!

I'm not sure but on my WPG strap they were all brass.Ihatesnakes wrote:Looking good Swindiana!
Can I ask a related question? What colour is generally used for the rivets / chicago screws? I have a bag & NH strap coming sometime soon, so I'm curious about small details like that.
Marc
The strap alone cost me abot 17 Euro, about $18. The Chicago screws only came in a pack of 8 so that with the shipment brought the price up a bit too.
Ask Haversaw if he has got any left, I think ge got them from Tandy leather.
A close up of the buckle will be posted.
Regards,
Lars

That's the buckle I ordered for my strap. I got it from A+ buckles. It does look nice on the strap. You might think it may be flimsy but it is stamped steel so it is fairly tough.
