FedIV question??
do we have to shape them ourselves??

yeah- somebody smarter than me will post it with pictures, I'm sure.
To describe it, put the hat on your head, 'karate chop' it dead center, longways, creasing it. Take off the hat, then usin g acrab-claw motion, with your hand, pinch the front. Bend the front of the brim down, and Voila!
Indy bash. Now, you'll have to tweak it a bit, but this is the basic way you do it. Tight long crease for Raiders look, tight crease at the top only for LC/CS look.
If your Fed 4 is a little stiff, or resistant, put on a pot of water to boil, and hold it over the steam. Just a little is all it takes. The felt will turn into play-doh. When you get the part your working on where you like it, hold it for a secondwhile it cools, it'll stay that way.
Some people have just used cold water in a sprayer, but depending on howmuch stiffner is in your hat's felt batch, you'll probably want the steam. I always did.
Don't worry, if you mess it upor don't like it, just pop it out and start over!
