us wings usaf shirt
I have the us wings safari or usaaf shirt long sleeve it a close enough and I love it also I washed it and put it on delicate it did not shirnk. I thought I read a thread about shirnkage, guys ask your wives abut clothes and drying and they'll keep you from ruining stuff.learned hard way that's why I say ask you wife about the laundry.

There are plenty of unmarried members on this board who don't have a "wife" to teach them about laundry. Instead of asking readers to go to someone else for instructions, if you have the information, I'm sure that it would be appreciated by lots of folk.
What I sure hope that some people learn though, is proper grammar and punctuation. Isn't that taught in school any more?

my first post about this I typed too fast and forgot some words. I do speak english, but I'm not the best typist. what I was trying to say was; if you wash the shirt on cold and when you go to dry it, set the dryer on the on the delicate cycle ,the results are the shirt will not shirnk at all. The dryer has many settings delicate is the lowest heat and safest for cotton, that I have found. I hope this is better and I will try to type slower and not be so excited when I type. It's funny I thought this was a site for fun and non judgement but I guess no matter what you do or say you'll always be judged. I'm 38 and still learning lessons about this.

From someone that does the laundry around the house (and yes, I am married), I find that my cotton shirts and pants get thrown in with everything else; so putting the dryer on delicate isn't really feasible. What I do instead is simply remove the articles after the wash and hang them dry. Ideally, you can remove them from the dryer after a few minutes but I never seem to remember and have had a few things shrink that way. However you do generally have to iron the articles if you remove them from after the was but I guess that's the price I pay not to get shrinkage (no Seinfeld jokes please!! ).

Still, and I've done laundry with the best of them, you'll find the Wings shirt does tend to catch you by surprise if you forget and toss it in the dryer by mistake.
I did, and my size large shrank to a small in one cycle!!!
Needless to say, I never got to wear it again....but another fan here throughly enjoyed it when I shipped it to them!
