A Long Time Ago....
...in a galaxy far, far away....well, not quite...but there was a time in my life when I was spending an inordinate amount of time in some rather esoteric locations in Central America. Thinking back on it now, I do remember that most of the Policia Nacional-types were carrying big-bore Smith & Wesson revolvers in their low-slung flap holsters. I wish I had asked to see a few of those guns, as I'm sure they'd been floating around there for a long time. The locales and the "players" themselves all looked like they'd just stepped out of a 1930's movie! Sure wish I would have been able to take photos!
