First Wested Jacket

Post by Spooky »

One of the highlights of my recent trip to Britain was visiting Peter at his store in Swanley and purchasing my very first Wested (CS, Novapelle). :D

I've had my G&B Goat for years, but always wanted to own a Wested. I hadn't even seriously considered Novapelle until I felt the material in person and tried on a Novapelle jacket. The look and feel is completely different from my goat and I'm really looking forward to breaking it in.
It was really great to see Peter again and also to finally visit his renowned shop in person. While I was there, Peter showed me some of the Thunderbirds jacket insignias for the local theatre production of "Grease."

During my trip, I also saw the Queen at Balmoral Castle! She waved at me and a small group of other tourists as she rode past us to attend Church.
Pretty cool. \:D/

P.S.> CS was below expectations, but I thought this was a pretty cool photo op when I was travelling on the Underground (subway) in London.

P.S.> The scenery in England, Wales, and Scotland is unbelievable, and I found the people throughout Britain to be extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. I can't wait to return someday.

Peter said it will be a few weeks.

P.S.> I would like to thank Agent5, Bufflehead Jones, and Platon for their advice & suggestions prior to my first Wested Jacket purchase. :)

Hey Spooky,

Glad that you enjoyed your trip.

Make sure that you post some pics of your jacket, I would like to see it.

Next time you are in the area, bring ol' Fortune and Glory with you and your new jacket. I would like to check out that new jacket in person. I don't think that I have ever seen the Novapelle in person.

Sure thing, Bufflehead.
I hope to make it back your way sometime - not sure when.
Peter recognized your name and started asking me about GraverobberGreg also.

Did you take any pics at Fingerlakes?

Take it easy,
