Hello ,
Please post... We will receive the Kids Indy Jackets around the 15th of June.... The Hold up was.. I had to send the Leather to our Partners in Hong Kong.. They are a UK Factory that has been in business for over 50 years.. Very well known! They also made all the Avirex LTD Jackets for over 30 years.... The Owners of the Factory are UK citizens!! US Wings Inc. USA are made in the USA and We are Union Made and there is no way I can make this Jacket here and re sale it for that price.... My cost for a Kids Indy here in the USA is over $ 200.00. It has been over two years since we made this Jacket!! and they will go Fast.......

Good enough for an 8 year old! Heck, all I had was brown coats or an old pleather bomber whan I was a kid. I will never tell my old man how much I just spent on a jacket for a kidbuda741 wrote:Stupid question how accurate are these junior jackets and what movie are they based?
Anyway, to answer you question...it is their standard pattern minus the hand warmers and inside pocket.
Hey now, I'm not 8! I'm only 5'2 and I'm looking to get the 18-20 size. So there standard pattern means what? It says on the info on the website that it includes 2 inside pockets...?Cowboy wrote:Good enough for an 8 year old! Heck, all I had was brown coats or an old pleather bomber whan I was a kid. I stand corrected. I do not think it had an inside 2 moths ago. Anyway, I have not a clue about your height and size, etc. So why don't you call em?buda741 wrote:Hey now, I'm not 8! I was WRONG!!! There is inside pockets. I was going to go Wested, but it would have run about $50 more. Not worth the extra cost for my boy. To each his own....you don't have to by one.PSBIndy wrote:Boy, they really short-changed the kids didn't they......no hand-warmer pockets or inside pocket.......a deal-breaker for me (and my son).
I'm going to call tomorrow morning regarding size. Finding items that will fit correctly at a decent price is hard for me, and I think I can live without the hand warmers. I'm looking for something CS but I don't know the actual differences between jackets. And at this price and hopefully right size I can live without 100% accuracy. This can be a lucky break
I think that you and KT are the same size. He will tell you to get a Wested. Maybe and OTR?? Personaly, if it were for me, I would want side entry pockets. Kids don't care. I'll post in the thread below about the Wested kids jacket to leave this one on topic.Cowboy wrote:I think that you and KT are the same size. He will tell you to get a Wested. Maybe and OTR?? I'm the same height as Buda but probably a bit chunkier!

Did anyone tell you that you look like that actor who played Bruce Lee in the movie "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story?"Baldwyn wrote:I bought 2 of the old US Wings jackets for my kid. My son has a US Wing Lil' Indy jacket from 2002 and it has the inside pocket as well as the hand warmers. Interestingly, it was supposed to be made of goatskin but the supply ran out at the time of the order so, for no additional cost my son's jacket was made in their buttery soft antique cowhide. The quality of the hide is simply outstanding. Anyway, my point is that the older USW kids Indy jackets had handwarmers and an inside pocket.Baldwyn wrote:I bought 2 of the old US Wings jackets for my kid.
