Whats the best way to clean a Fedora with out having to send it for a re-block. I have an AB which had fullers on and I vacumed it off and I'd say I got 99% out.
But it's always had a spot or two were I tend to grab it. I think the natural oils from my finger tips may have caused some saturation over the years and has caused little areas of dis-coloration/stains.
Would pouncing help with 400 grit or some other method. I really don't want to send it in for a re-block since it doesn't need one.
Any help would of course be apprecaited.

Oh ya, many times. Their not very noticable to the passer by, just to me and small details like that can some times bug me, just me being me I guess.
I'd take pics but the last time I did that no one saw the ring/rub mark at the base of the ribbon meets the felt in front.
I threw this out there in hopes someone might chime in with way to clean your Fedora. As far as the 400 grit sand paper is concernd, I read in another thread were they were talking about pouncing and Steve mentioned something about using it when he pounces a hat, I thought that I might be able to clean off the stained felt.
Heres the linkhttp://www.indygear.com/cow/viewtopic.php?t=30707 I ws talking about.
