Howdy folks -- first post.
I justed ordered a US Wings Collector's Edition Distressed jacket. May not be screen accurate, but I really really like the look and description of the jacket. I've looked all over the board about protecting the leather, but it seems that the consensus is that Pecards will weatherproof it, but "ruin" the distressed look. I really want to keep the look AND protect it from rain. I saw that somebody used Scotchgard, but that you can't use anything else after that.
Just wondering if someone has had any more experience with wanting to weatherproof a distressed jacket without altering the look, but leaving it open to using something like Pecards in the future.
Thanks!

Howdy DirtyEpic-- I have the Limited Edition US Wings distressed jacket (pretty much the same leather as yours). I treated mine (lightly) with Pecards, and it definitely did *not* ruin the distressed look or darken it overmuch. I used Pecards classic leather dressing ...

... and again I applied it very lightly/thinly.
Good luck with your jacket!
