Wested email problems?
I am frustrated.
I would like to buy a jacket from Wested, but (written) communication with them seems completely hit-and-miss.
After not receiving a reply to the last couple of emails I had sent over the last two weeks, I called Gemma last Friday, announcing my desire to order a jacket. She told me to use the online order form, if possible, so I did. After sending my order, my browser showed a confirmation/thank you page, which I saved as an image for later use.
Also on Friday, I wrote her another email asking if she could forward me the order number of my new order, in case I had to refer to the order again in our communication. Today (Tuesday) I received a reply to this email to the effect that no, they hadn't received any order from me at all! I replied with puzzlement, including the image of the confirmation page I had received.
This last email didn't seem to go through either (!), so I had to call Gemma again today. No, they hadn't received my order, and could I please fill out the order form again?
So the status so far is that over the last three weeks or so, only 1 out of 4 emails have gotten through to them, and 0 out of 1 (possibly 2!) online orders...
Now, email and online ordering forms are not exactly being delivered by the pony express through hostile territory these days, so why in the world is it so unreliable in Wested's case??

Not to rain on your parade but me and 2 of my friends have each e-mailed Wested approximately 5 times each about getting jackets (this was over a year ago, way before Crystal Skull) and none of us ever heard back from them.
I've tried a few times since then and nothing.
Needless to say I bought a Gibson & Barnes.

So, a bit hit-and-miss, as I assumed.
Anyway, when I spoke with her earlier today, Gemma had promised to write me back in the afternoon, telling me whether they had received my second order attempt or not. As promised, she did write me back, and yes, they had received my order this time.
Of course, from the email she sent, I could see that the order she had received was the old one, the one I had submitted on Friday...
But now at least there's confirmation that they've received (one of) my orders, for which I am grateful. I think I might stick with the phone in the future, though.

Since the start of 2008 I have ordered 2 jackets and a pair of pants. I never got any confirmation on any of them. I sent many emails from 2 accounts and after many overseas phone calls got a response. I really had to hound them. I was always told that they replied but I never got the email. I had no problems getting other mail just had the problem with Wested. 2 of the 3 items I ordered didn't have what ordered. I had one jacket the wrong size since the LC/CS patterns changed and the name tag was missing in my Novepelle. They were out of both hides and never bothered to let me know till I called overseas. The pants I just recived were ordered with a hemm but came unfinished. I like my jackets I have but I have most likely sent in my last order with those pants because of quality control and communication issues.
