Looks good and more functional than Alden. Not cheap but 1/3 the price of the 405, and Orvis is a well-known and quality brand. (I have a bunch of Orvis clothes and they're very durable and well-made). I just ordered a pair so we'll see. Check it out:

I don't know what it is, but the Orvis doesn't look quite right. Maybe after the pants cover the tops, they would be fine.

But this Orvis Chukka boot ONLY comes in a men's D width (I just called them). Anyone with a wider or narrower foot will not fit into the Orvis boot. If D is your size, go for it.
