What was just a normal vacation that just about got me broke payed off in the end.I was in Galviston TX at an antiuqe store & there behind a glass case layed a Webly & Scott mark 4.I had to borrow some money to get it cuz I was allready broke.Ok so it wasnt the one used in the film but this is wear it gets interesting. While looking for the amo to shoot it with was a real challenge. It take a 38 smith&wesson short. In mr travels to find the shells one of the places that I stoped at the gun smith was taking a look at mine & said that he was working on one that morning. As he brought ot out it was the mark five version the one used in the film.I couldnt believe my eyes I pulled myself togather & asked him who the owner of it was he replyed saying the it was the stores & the when he finished it he was going to sell it.So he took my name & number down & said that he would give me a call when its ready.
Well anyways I gotta go but I will keep you guys updated on this.
Until then copper.
A friend of mine has a converted (to .45 ACP) Webley Mk VI he's selling for $300...I hope to be getting it soon! I've shot it and it is a blast (pun intended) to shoot!

You are going to have THE two Indy guns, aren't you?
Pyro, I'm certainly going to try and get the Webley! I know it's rather unwieldy, and not as accurate as the S&W, but it is a cool revolver...I'll let you know if and when I do get it.
I love the Webley. No, it isn't completely practical, but it's got a ton of character (and history). I paid more for my old Webley than I did for a brand new Ruger P-85 9MM a few years ago. I'm much happier with my Webley purchase (I actually sold my Ruger).
